The number of motions is not important at this age,the consistency is,which should be soft and formed. Passing 10-12 stools a day is normal,as is passing one motion after 4-5 days. If NOT accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or abdominal distension or dullness and refusal to feed OR not passing flatus,relax!! Ensure regularity in breastfeeds at regular gaps of atleast 2-1/2 hours,maintain hygiene in feeds.
