Baby constipation

My baby is 6 months old. Started giving him rice kanji for the first week.Then added dal. Since 4 days ,I have been giving sweet potato porridge as well. He passed the stool very hard like a small ball today. Where am I wrong? Suggest next steps. Am breastfeeding him no formula milk.

Give your baby mashed carrots, beetroot etc. Even then if constipation is persistant, then you can give a pinch of chia or sabja seeds in water. There are many more ways to make the digestive system good.

Gud morning pls give him tender coconut water in spoon in small quantity every day in day time for getting relief from constipation issue n some days pear juice as well.

Hi, Try other weaning meals like suji kheer, glucose biscuit mashed in milk, mashed potato, mashed dal, curd etc. It takes time to adjust with the new meals for the baby. Try giving different meals at different times starting from the least quantity.
