Baby bite while breast feeding

My baby is 1 year old. He bite me while feeding and it's bleeding in breast and it's very painful. Please advice.

Firstly, a baby one year old has enough teeth. So this will be a recurring problem. You should try to wean him from breast feed. Secondly , you can use local application of Candid ointment. It is not meant to be swallowed. So you will have to keep baby off breast when this ointment is used.

You can apply nipple butter cream when not feeding the baby .some safe analgesic for pain
