Anxiety is treatable with allopathy medicines very efficiently. Few people may have reservations due apprehensions about side effects and misinformation. She may give a trial for 2 to 6 weeks. Medicines are very safe. Some of the exercises like breathing exercise and Jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation are very effective. Psychotherapies can also be tried after she is assessed. Yoga is effective as complimentary to treatment. Studies suggest medicine along with psychotherapy gives best results. Medicines course for anxiety disorder varies from 9 month to a year. Better to start treatment. Because most patients due to lack of proper information either delay treatment or stretch the duration of illness leading to social and occupational impairment above disease burden. Many patient under treatment for anxiety have found relief with treatment. Unless u give a trial things will delay. All the best

Madam, I understand your emotions and need to find alternative treatment. In my view please try these treatment only under guidance of trained professionals, as on few occasions people get treated by quacks and come to Allopathic Psychiatrist in worsened part of illness. this may render patient unrecoverable from his/her psychiatric illness, which wold render treatment to be very costly (every medicine or modality which is included, adds cost).
Next Steps
please take wise decision.
