Although your description does indicate anxiety symptoms, I would still suggest you to first see a physician to rule out any underlying organic causes. Yes. Anxiety is a situation wherein our mind perceives some threat and start reacting in certain dysfunctional way due to our own vulnerabilities. This manifestations include both psychological symptoms like worrying, fearfulness, tension, racing thoughts etc and physical symptoms like palpitations or shaking sweating, numbness, tingling, shortness of breath, nausea etc. Occasionally certain behavioural symptoms like irritability, avoidance etc and biological symptoms like lack of sleep, appetite can also occur. Start practicing relaxation, yoga, meditation and start becoming more aware about anxiety symptoms when they occur, but don't fight with them. Practice mindfulness of being present to the emotions and not letting them affect your functioning and behavior. If symptoms are too difficult to manage psychiatrist will help you through appropriate cognitive behavior therapy, medicine if necessary and lifestyle advices and to address any underlying psychological stresses. Best wishes
