I am suffering from anxiety and depression from 4 months. i feel noone understands me and feel like i can't control my emotions. i don't have a job and i avoid going out at public places. I take vit b12 (1000mcg/day) and folic acid (800 mcg/day) supplements that helps alleviate my mood/depression, but it doesnt help in controlling anxiety. What should i do?

lose weight. start a sports activity like swimming or cycling. do what you like rather than sitting at home. do not take medicines unnecessarily, but start taking active and conscious steps of moving out with friends or otherwise. do things you like. it will be difficult in the beginning but you will get into a habit soon.

Hi, your perceptions about yourself( no one understands you, you have no job) and things around you( avoid going out at public places) are causing you distress and a feeling that you are not in control of your emotions. Your anxiety too could be due to this fact that you do not feel in control of your emotions. You would do very well with counseling and / or medication. Please visit a Psychiatrist who deals with counseling. All the best.

Hi. Its appears that you are suffering from depression or anxiety disorder. Its a very common and treatable condition. I think you need proper evaluation and and treatment. Whatever you are taking is not indicated for treatment of same. Please visit a psychiatrist and on evaluation if he think there is need of treatment he will prescribe you accordingly. TC
