Anal hole pain while passing stool

2025-02-10 07:45:36
I am in my 42 days of postpartum. I had a c section. Since then I'm finding it hard to pass stool. Though I'm passing it, I feel the anal hole has shrunk in size and causing pain while passing stool. I had initial piles during pregnancy. I don't know if the condition still persists or is cured. I'm unsure as to whom to consult for this condition

Piles can persist postpartum also. You should take fibre rich diet. Take plenty of fluids. Take fresh fruits and vegetables in diet so that stool remain soft.Hard stool may aggregate your problem. You can take stool softener if needed.

Please consult your Gynaecologist who did the Caesarean. A physical examination is required
