Advise pls help

Age 38 old women recently delivered a bang 2.5 months back. Having pain in fingers, wrist and hand .. probably due to holding baby. Fingers feel stiff every morning after waking up and lasts for 20 mins and gets normal. Should I use hot compress or cold compress to reduce the pain. The pain started 35 days post delivery. Pls help and advise. Thanks

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes, metabolic disorder or epilepsy etc., if there is any.  - Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. - Keep no pillow under the head. - Avoid painful acts & activities. - Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold. -Do mild exercises for the affected part.-  neck and shoulders and hands. -Any way it may be tried, --.
