• Recurrent daily pustules on the forehead suggest active inflammatory acne with ongoing comedone formation • Lesions “under the skin” indicate closed comedones progressing to inflamed pimples, leading to marks afterward • The marks described are likely post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), common after healing acne Next Steps • Dermatology evaluation to assess acne grade and identify triggers (hair products, dandruff, hormonal factors, occlusion) • Focus should be on controlling new lesion formation first, which will automatically reduce future marks • Once acne is controlled, targeted care for pigmentation can be considered Helpful Tips / Word of Caution • Avoid touching/picking—this is a major cause of persistent marks • Keep hair and scalp clean; avoid oily hair products touching forehead • Use non-comedogenic skincare and strict sunscreen to prevent marks from darkening Kindly consult with me via practo for detailed evaluation and treatment
