ACL partial tear required surgery??

MRI report: PDFS hyperintense signals are seen in the ACL in the lower half, possibility of mild partial tear of fibres. It's required surgery??

Indications of ACL surgery: 1.high demand athletic 2.symptomatic instability(feeling of give way/loss of balance) 3.Meniscal tear symptoms(joint line pain,locking)

If there is instability post conservative measures then go for surgery as you are just 30.

Partial tears if symtomatic and on examination positive for torn ACL tests requires diagnostic arthroscopic confirmation followed by ACL reconstruction.

If you are not having pain or locking of knee Conservative treatmentlike rest mild exercise will be sufficient
