ACL , MCL tear and Ankle sprain

2021-12-14 11:12:12
During Mar 2021, I twisted my RIGHT ankle and had a sprain.l took rest for one week and after that I can able to walk and run. But the swelling near the ankle region is still there(no pain) and I can't able to move my fourth and little toe like my other leg. During Sep 2021 when I was playing cricket,I started to feel pain in my  RIGHT knee and there was a swelling little beneath my knee. I took some rest and the pain was gone. So I started to play again after some days and I started to feel pain(little beneath the knee) while climbing stairs. So I went to a orthopaedic doctor in GH in Nov 2021 and took a MRI scan(RIGHT knee). He said that there is a partial ACL tear and grade 2 tear in medial meniscus. He said to take rest for 1 month and to wear a knee brace. Also he told that "swelling in the ankle will go away, Don't worry about that".Its been 8 months still the swelling is there. kindly help with an answer about the swelling in ankle and when to return to sports activities again.

I think you should get your ankle investigated

I feel you have ignored that you might be deficient in vitamins d and b12. In such case healing won't happen and chronic pains are the result. Mri knee findings could be chance findings too . If your knee is ok don't worry about the reports. Get vitamin checked and take injectable supplement and you will feel better in a week or so.
Next Steps
get vitamin checked
Health Tips
take injectable supplement, consult if not working
