Hello there,,,ya the condition is called planter fascitis or it could be calcaneal spur (for which X ray is needed) with physiotherapy you can be completely cured of it...
1)you need to undergo sessions of local Ultrasound therapy (at least 10).
2) planter fascia stretching ex (which a qualified physio can teach you)
3)you can wear calcaneal spur/Talgia heel pads within your shoes so as to minimize the preassure cocentration on heel and distribution of body weight.
4) Avoid prolong standing & jumping activities
5)if possible try and reduce your weight.
80% of Talgia/spur/fascitis/heel pain recover completely with physiotherapy and shoe modification.... if the pain still persisits inspite of these then a local steroid injection at the site of pain/spur would bring you relief.
Regards & take care.
