About fasting glucose/sugar test

2025-04-26 07:37:33
Currently, i have minor bone dislocation in my left wrist and my hand bones are painful . My doctor wrote some tests and one of them was fasting glucose test. It came 95mg/dL. I get my body checkup done once a year and my fasting glucose always remains between 74 and 84 and last time in October my hba1c was 5.0. The medicine that i am taking for my wrist pain and inflammation and swelling is Diclofenac sodium, paracetamol & Serratiopeptidase tablets. After eating clean homemade food, why did my fasting glucose come to 95? I mean why does it increase? Am I prone to diabetes? PS- I don't have a family history of diabetes.

It is normal. Just maintain your weight,  take white sugar to minimum as it does not provide any nutrition. Replace sugar with honey styvia or jaggery as they are more healthy choices for sweetening.
