Hello doctors... I have 32 weeks matured baby. 26 days completed from delivery date. I got Cesarean. Can I start to eat non veg and egg? Does it affect to prematured baby from breastmilk?

Yes, you can start eating non-veg and egg now. It does not harm the baby through breastmilk, even in preterm babies. Just keep it well cooked and maintain a balanced diet.

Baby born at 32weeks of gestation - currently the child is ~4weeks old ! Primarily you need to continue to give breast feeding as per baby demand till 6months(exclusive breast feeding practice) ; post 6 months of life , you can start the child with weaning food(gravy , thin gruel like consistency food) . Mother should have good balanced diet in nutrition as the nutrient requirememts for baby also comes from mothers diet. Good protein diet is a part of mother nutrition , ideally include eggs and lean meat like chicken , as they help in postpartum recovery
Next Steps
- can have lean meat and eggs , in hygienic way - ideally homemade
Health Tips
- prevent outside food intake in mother , avoid over spicy & oily food ; have varied diet rather than single
