5th metatarsal base fracture
So I twisted my leg on 18th of October.
After being in the cast for 4 weeks I have started walking right now still in the cast and there is still some pain while walking only. NO swelling .
So when should I get the cast removed and what should I wear after getting the cast removed.

Preferable to keep cast for another 10 to 15 days if pain still there. This fracture is more prone for non-union. If it doesnt unite it may require surgery. Please follow up with your orthopedic regularly if pain still persists even after plaster removal.
