It depends in which zone is the fracture, and how displaced it is. Majority of the Jone's fracture can be managed conservatively i.e. with a POP, however Air cast shoe seems like a better option since it allows you to take care of your foot unlike a POP cast where you'll be seeing your foot after several weeks. But definitely need latest Xray to comment further.
