My 4 month old's head will always be comparatively hot than his body, hands and legs. Not just for one day, this is the case everyday . Is this normal?

So for children this can happen and it is normal. Child may have a hot head and also palm and soles even if temp is below 100F or stomach is normal. Opposite is also true. They may high fever and their head, palm and soles may be cold. So always better to check the temperature by thermometer in the armpit and if above 100F, then only take action. Otherwise check the temperature over the stomach, not on head, palm and soles. It happens due to body metabolism.
