Dear human, thank you for sharing and reaching out. It must have been difficult for you to share this here and I completely understand that you're undergoing a difficult time. Anxiety can be very difficult to handle due to its characteristics like restlessness, being always on edge, and anticipating things that might or might not happen.
Some tips to manage your anxiety:
1. Try to identify what specifically triggers your anxiety, like what situations and why it triggers you. You can do this by journalling, writing down your thoughts while you're feeling anxious. This also allows you to have a sense of control over your anxiety and helps to vent/express yourself out.
2. Practice mindfulness - Mindfulness is being present at the moment without interrupting and judging the thought flow and learning to accept as is. This can be practices through small techniques like observing and feeling the objects around you, 5-4-3-2-1 technique - take three deep breaths and name five things that you can see, four things that you can hear, three things that you can touch, two things that you can smell and one thing that you can taste.
3. Pause whatever you're doing, and follow 4-7-8 breathing technique, inhale for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds and exhale for eight seconds.
4. Seek therapy/reach out to professionals - psychologists/therapists of you think things are not working out. If you're not able to find the source of your anxiety, therapy would help you to do it.
