Hi , through ultrasound i got to know that i have low lying placenta and i was doing proper rest but last night i had orgasm without intercourse and i found spotting , just want to know about my baby .. will it cause any affect on baby .. really worried about it Please help what to do and what precaustion should take .. is it a matter of concern??

What is the duration of your pregnancy now? You may get a repeat sonography done if the last report is more than one month old. As the pregnancy grows, the relationship of the placenta to the cervix of the patient may not remain static. It changes.  The diagnosis may come from sonography.

In low lying placenta you can have bleeding on and off. Keep a watch and if the bleeding occurs again you must contact your doctor. And bed rest is must till spotting stops .
