Why amino acids and minerals are prescribed during pregnancy when hemoglobin is low. How does that effect the pregnancy.

Amino acids and minerals will do their job. Blood will carry them to the place where they are required. Even when haemoglobin is low the blood can transport minerals and Amino acids. It is only Oxygen which is dependent on Hb level for its transportation.
