Can Amblyopia be caused by a traumatic injury? I am 30 years old and met with an accident in 2011. Vision in eyes Right Eye : 6/60 to nil (Macular scar) Left Eye: 6/24 (Probable reason is Amblyopia)

Hello A. Amblyopia can't be caused by trauma B. 6/24 vision in left eye needs investigation to find the cause.... Probable causes include A. Microtropia B. Amblyopia Etc. Even if left eye has amblyopia...This amblyopia is unrelated to injury...As by definition amblyopia is blurred vision due to functional cause rather than organic cause Regards
