Am too afraid to take the medicines
I'm crying alot nowadays. I consulted a psychiatrist but I went way too anxious when I was telling her my issues. Obviously she saw what she saw amd she put me on medications. I'm too afraid to continue the medicines as I googled about the medicines and found them too addictive. My father takes the same ativan tablet since 20 years and can't imagine to live without it even for a day. He takes 6more tablets because he has many other issues.. I don't want to be like my dad. I can't share this with anyone not even my parents because they'll worry for me even more than I do..
I tried to share with my girlfriend but she's too busy with her work and rn doesn't have time for my issues.. I don't know what's to be done.. I just don't want to be like my dad.. I don't want to my life on medications.. I don't
Currently m prescribed with Ativan 1mg & Feliz s 10. It's only been 3 days I started taking this but still afraid so please suggest me should I take this or not..

You should take these medicines, they are wonderful medicines. Ativan can be tapered off later once your symptoms are better. Feliz S, after you are stabilized, will be tapered off subsequently.
Every medicine has side effects.
Even junk food is addictive and has side effects.

Feliz S 10 is used for the treatment and maintenance of depression (major depressive disorder). This medicine works by increasing the level of a natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. It is also used to treat severe anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder). Usually, it will take about 2-4 weeks before you start feeling better, but do not stop taking tablet without consulting your doctor. Full benefits may take a little longer.
Next Steps
Talk to your doctor if taking the medicine does not make you feel better or you feel worse even after taking the medicine.
