I have near sightedness with an approximate power of -4 in both eyes.
Sometimes I cannot wear spectacles, and I try wearing contact lenses, but they make my eyes very dry and triggers a headache.
I heard that LASIK surgery is not recommended for people with dry eyes, and also if power is steadily increasing (my power increased -0.5 in the last 6 months).
Are there any other alternatives?

lasik should be done when the number is stationary. yes in patient having dry eye it should be avoided. lesser numbers can be corrected by RK
but this technique is obsolete now..col is new upcoming measure but is very expensive. better you continue with your specs.
