Allergic reaction
Hi, My nephew who is staying in Michigan, US has suddenly got an allergic reaction in the last 2-3 days. He has a swollen face with dried and cracked skin as well as rashes all over the body. My sister got him checked and he was diagnosed to have a Strep throat infection. He has all the symptoms of scarlet fever like stomach and body pain. I have attached the images of him before and after the infection. Please advise. Thanks, Ankur

Hi there! Looks like he has got an acute reaction to the streptococcal infection in the body. He needs admission there and treatment with antibiotics to clear the infection only after which the skin will improve.
Next Steps
Take a dermatologist consult there itself.
