Hi he needs a Psychiatrists help to treat dependence with medication as well as guided methods to control his craving and preferably stop alcohol consumption. This itself can have a direct effect on BP. There are two kinds of treatments for alcohol dependence. One is, medicine is given to reduce the urge to drink. Another option is to give a medication that will cause an uncomfortable reaction when the person drinks, which will make them reduce consumption. Both need a detailed evaluation.

He needs to control his blood pressure first by medication and salt restricted diet. He can also start a liver tonic. For his addiction, he should enroll in a deaddiction program like Alcoholics Anonymous.
