Hi you can apply mucopain ointment or vaseline to avoid irretation by braces ..if they are poking alot ..it happens for a week ..body / lips will adapt to baraces ..if they are hurting too much ..you can apply chewing up ..softening it with water and stuck on perticlar bracket which is traoubing you
