After Covid recovery doubt
Dear Sir, I'm Ritwik, 32 yrs , Male, I got covid 19 and admitted at hospital where I hv given low flow Oxygen support fr 4-5 days as my SP02 was 89-92. Now I'm discharged, and without Oxygen support fr 4 days. Presently my CRP- 1.17, D-Dimer - 0.34 , IL 6- 2.70. My SPO2 level is fluctauting B/w 95-97 (even aftr 6 minute walk),Pulse -110-120. My covid report is negative now. I hv following questions- a) Do I need to take any blood thinners now ( It was admintstred to my whn I ws in hospital), if yes, which tablet? b) Do I need to do HRCT? (It ws never done earlier in my case) Kindly advise.

Hi.noneed of blood thinners .no need for CT chest .advised propped up portion for sleep &breathing  exercises.

Hi You need not take blood thinners and HRCT is not advisable unless there are specific symptoms.regards.Dr.Vilas
