I often make careless mistake. I have recently started noticing the trend. I find a few things clear I an disorganized. No matter how hard I try there are careless mistake in my work. People feel I am not listening cause I just get lost. Could be other issues but I guess it is ADHD inattentive type because the trends are from years

Sir, it is very thoughtful to bring this topic into light. diagnosing adult ADHD is very difficult even at my level, despite being a psychiatrist. sometimes it require 2-3 sessions to diagnose it at my clinic. and then I see few people comming to me with Google diagnosis of ADHD please don't trust in your google knowledge and show to some psychiatrist and let him diagnose and treat your condition ADHD or Whatever

Don't be Overdiagnose urself. Attention prblm also comes in different diseases. So better to consult a psychiatrist and do details evaluation

Most of the the time ADHD is seen and diagnosed in the early development of the child.Considering your age, you may not fall in the category of ADHD.Perhaps you want to know about ADHD also.Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder , Symptoms of ADHD start appearing in the school time.Children with this disorder can’t sit still and interrupt the class repeatedly by getting up and wandering around.3 types seen like with predominantly hyperactivity or impulsivity, some present with inattention and 3rd types with combinations of both.

Causes of in attention can be many.Psychological or biological.Psycho-stressors from work, home or social causes can the underlying reasons. Medical illnesses like Diabetes or of thyroid etc should be ruled out .A detailed physical examination may be needed at your age.Adjustment problems can cause various problems like in attention when the mind is flooded with various troubling thoughts.
Health Tips
Sometimes simple changes in the life styles can help to improve the attention time. Make a daily schedule and timings and follow them. Avoid overindulgence in cigarettes and other substances of dependence like alcohol or tea /coffee etc. Maintain sleep hygiene. Do exercises and Yoga exercises. Proper healthy diet. Consult a mental health professional.One should also rule out depressives or anxiety disorders too. Psychological and psychopharmacologies may be needed as per the diagnosis .
