Adenomyosis
I am 35 yrs and have adenomyosis(irregular& heavy periods for years) and was asked to take LUPRIDE DEPOT 3.75mg injection for 3 months, took two injections so far and did a scan last week, doctor said there is no improvement. In that case should I go with the third month injection, since scan showed no improvement and my last periods was irregular and heavy as usual. I am on REGULATE TABLET & NOVEX DS now. Kindly advice.

If you’re having heavy bleed even with Novex/depot etc. you may ask your doctor regarding Mirena. If cavity is normal your doctor can decide whether or not it will help. If periods are still heavy you may need uterus removal because adenomyosis may not respond to medical therapy many times
