Addiction to social media.
My wife 44 ( married for 17years) has developed acute addiction for social media resulting in developing indifferent attitude towards every aspect of day to day activities and able to discharge her basic duties of a mother and wife. Remains absent mind due to preoccupied with indulgence of social media. Can any medicine help.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Addiction is just a symptoms and she may be using that as a source to vent out her emotions, feelings or disturbance. She  need a counseling guidance to first understand the root cause behind such behaviour and then solutions. Consult a psychologists directly or online. Internet addiction can be treated with counselling & medicines. Motivation to quit is important. Consult psychiatrist online or in person.
