Addiction of antidepressants

Asked for Male, 39 Years

I have used amitriptyline 25 -75mg on and off since 10-15 years. But never completed a full course of treatment due to not proper counseling. Now I feel too irritability in skull, insomnia , headache, hopelessness, less concentration and my brain always thik about medicine. Now question is that may I recover myself again or I have destroyed my brain. I want to take amitriptyline 50-75mg and complete full course of treatment but under guidence a qualified psychiatrist. Please suggest what should I do?
