I'm using Nasivion nasal drop from last 10+ years. many time i tried to stop it with consulting doctor, but failed.
last time a doctor suggest me Alligra-M, saline drop etc. and said that try to reduce amount of nasal drop. i tried but its very difficult to me.
please suggest me if any type of surgery or other treatement for this problem. thanks.

Long term usage of decongestant nasal drops such as Otrivin leads to condition known as rhinitis medicamentosa. In this condition there will be swelling of the structures inside your nose especially the inferior turbinate. Initially you need to be treated with oral steroid tablets along with steroid nasal sprays. Slowly you need to reduce the quantity of Otrivin you are using. In some cases reduction of inferior turbinate size by surgical methods is helpful to withdraw Otrivin use
