Acute pancreatitis
Hi ,
What is the cure for acute pancreatitis. When will patient be able to have water. Right now patient is on iv fluids since last 48 hrs but pain is still not gone compeletly even once. Diclofenac is provided patient but pain is only reduced not gone .

Withholding food is not necessary in acute pancreatitis unless there is gastric emptying issue or associated complications. Get treated at a high volume Gastro department.
