Hi,
My husband recently admitted to hospital complaning tummy pain and vomitting. Undergone I.V contrast enhanced CT scan which shows acute nonnecrotizing pancreatitis with no significant collection. It is diffusely bulky with peripancreatic inflammatory changes with thickening of retroperitonial fascia on the left side. No necrosis or collection is seen, no calcification is seen, pancreatic duct is not dilated. He is 33 yrs, male, never drinks alcohol, never smokes. Is this by any chance gives hint of pancreatic cancer??? He was previously diagnosed with moderately fatty
liver.
