Acute pancreatitis and cbd stone 4mm
My father Recently got pain in whole stomach , we found that he got a multiple gall bladder stone and cbd stone i.e of 4mm. inflamation his amylase level were 1739 at that time
and bilirubin were more than 2 , in MRCP at that time it show that MPD is mildy dilated i.e 4mm in diameter ...we did a CA 19-9 i.e 208 u/ml . now after 7 days he doesn't have any pain in stomach, motion is good
and bilirubin is 0.83 , amylase is 80
and CA 19-9 is 80 ( it's done when bilirubin was 1.27 )
Please suggest me what should we do
and is there anything to worry about?

Hello sir.
Firstly the pain is relieved because the stone in CBD might have passed away so get a repeat USG whole abdomen to know the real status of the CBD that wether the stone have passed or not...this can be easily seen on the USG whole abdomen by a good radiologist.
Secondly consult a surgeon for lap. cholecystectomy as soon as possible (~6weeks) otherwise another episode of pancreatitis might occur.
