Keratoconus is usually bilateral condition, meaning occurs inn both eyes. So, do get the other eye screened as soon as possible.
As for hydrops, in acute stages multiple treatment modalities are present. One is gas injection in the eye. That helps squeeze out the fluid from the cornea. Other includes giving micro-punctures in cornea. Also some eye drops may help reduce the corneal fluid of hydrops.
