Acute ear pain during landing in flight
During last 30-50 minutes of flight while landing there is acute pain in my ears due to air pressure. Inspite of using ear plugs, chewing gum, trying to release the air pressure by holding my ear tight, there is acute pain in my ears. It is not bearable. Is there some problem with me as other people doesn't face such acute pain.

It's normal to have some ear blocking sensation and minor pain while landing. It becomes severe in case you have cold during air travel
Next Steps
Use soft chewing gums while on air travel and also do regular swallowing movements. This will equalize the pressure in the ear and reduce the pain
