Hi doc I am using betnovat cream to clear my acne and I am 5 months pregnant is this cream safe to be used

Betnovate creme contains a corticosteroid which is used for a variety of skin conditions.Most of the time pimples in pregnancy are self limiting as they are hormone dependant.All forms of steroidal preparations are best avoided in pregnancy.Use a daily face wash and avoid handling the pimples.This is sufficient in most cases.
