Acne and pimples
Is cod liver oil good if acne and pimples treatment is going on. Few doctors prescribe it and few don't. What to do???

Cod liver oil contains vitamin a. And one very good drug for treating acne is a derivative of vitamin a , hence many doctors probably prescribe it on that pretext. However, it's better to take the drug itself if indicated under monitoring and prescription. As such I am not sure if vitamin-a itself has any significant effect in reducing acne. Hope this helps.
