Hello,
I am 30 years old. i had a hormonal IUD insertion after birth to my first baby. its been 6 month after the insertion. past two month i am having sever acne problem in my cheeks, sometimes its painful. i never used any kind of makeup in my life. I understand its due to hormonal imbalance. Any advice on that, whether dermatology is the right person to consult. is there a way to get over this.

It can be improved...Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
