Acid reflux problem
Whenever i use proton pump inhibitor medicines like Rabemac dsr or Cyra D i get relived from acid reflux... But when i stop the acid starts again. How much time should i have to take this medicine as i was taking this medicine only one capsule a day.

It appears you are suffering from gastritis or gerd It's a very common problem considering our diet and lifestyle Avoid spicy and oily food cut down you tea or coffee Walk after meal for 10 min Sleep with 2 pillows over head Eat water 10 min before meal You can take max 2 cap 15 min before breakfast and dinner for 14 days then let's see how you are doing

First and foremost is it avoid things which aggravate symptoms , mainly smoking, high calorie spicy food, late night dinners, alcohol and inadequate sleep and obviously sedentary lifestyle. If you have any of this than no drug will be 100% effective.

Get an Upper GI endoscopy , USG abdomen

If you are not able to get off the medications then it is time to evaluate further and do investigations to find out the cause for acidity.

You should see me once the lockdown is over so that a clinical evaluation can be done and investigations can be advised.

Until then please dont have very spicy food and avoid too much oil. Continue with the medications whenever there is acidity
