Accidentally needle pricked injury
Today accidentally i got pricked by syringe which my father uses for insulin.. he as diabetes and hepatitis b .. sooner i washed my fingers with soap and hot water... Running water.. wil i get infected by hepatitis b... What precautions to be taken next..

You may need prophylactic immunoglobin, and followed by three doses of hepatitis b vaccine if it is not taken earlier. Please do consult an hepatologist/medical specialist .......

Normally chances of getting hep b or any other infection is less when needle is pricked.... U washed it thoroughly so it's still less.... Have u taken vaccination? Titres can be checked after 3 months.... Don't worry.... No specific precautions as such....
