About face redness
Hello Dr. I am having redness on face skin as well as dryness mostly around lips. I met a skin specialist. He told me I have seborrheic dermatitis. He suggested me a cream but I just want to ask you that in ayurveda, is there any permanent solution available for that disease?Generally I am facing this problem in winters. I have been facing this problem for last 6-7 years. Could you please advise me?

Redness of the skin or dermatitis is a inflammatory condition of the skin. Skin is the largest organ of the body and any defect in it should be taken seriously. Ayurveda advised panchakarma treatment if the skin disease like seborrheic dermatitis is present.
Topical steroids and moisteriser are helpful but recurrence in the disease is seen if the cause of the disease is no addressed completely. Ayurvedic shodhan treatment has helped patients maintain a disease free state or health for many patients.

You can use aloe vera on your face as well as scalp mixed with extra virgin coconut oil..because it can be due to dandruff too
