Hi ,
Psychiatrist prescribed me Lopez MD 1 once every night. This tablet was not available in my area , so I bought Lopez MD 2 and made it half and took it. After doing it half eventually it will 1 mg as prescribed by psychiatrist.
My Query 1. Is it safe to do it ?
My Query 2. Will splitting the tablet into half loose it's function ?
There is also a line in the middle of the tablet. I am just confused because some tablets are not to be broken.

Please don’t worry. This is a scored tablet, so splitting it in half will not reduce its effectiveness. Each half will provide approximately 1 mg of the medication.
