Abdominal pain
I have abdominal pain,sometimes with diarrhoea since one month.Recently I travelled to different place had to eat outside. I used metrogyl, cifran for one week,albendazole one dose it relieved little bit,but pain occurs reccurently..Does routine stool examination helpful to diagnose parasite ,bacterial infections

Amebiasis can cause recurrent abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Routine stool examination can confirm the diagnosis. Other possibility is Irritable Bowel Syndrome where there are similar symptoms but stool examination is normal.
