I am having right side abdominal pain and am at 8 week of pregnancy doctor detected appendix and they suggest me to have surgery is it safe to have it in pregnancy

There are risks as there would be physical ,mental and chemical stress involved. I need to know the severity of it so that a call can be taken whether it can be postponed, Also u might need some pregnancy support medicines to keep ur pregnancy safe if in case the surgery is done at this stage.
