A white thick layer formed in the tongue
After using Maxtra syrup to reduce the cold for my 2 year baby, a thick what colour patch kind of a layer has been formed on my baby's tongue. When I am trying to remove the layer with her tongue cleaner it is not being removed. When I try scratching her tongue white curd kind of a thing is being scraped from the thick layer which is formed on her tongue. What could be the reason for this. How can I completely remove the white layer on their tongue.

Try swab with glycerine locally with your hand. Apply honey after that . Keep her mouth clean . Hydrate with lots of fluids. It is milk curd on tongue. If you don't clean fungus will form. You can give sweet lime juice to hydrate and develop taste in her mouth. Give fruits . Coconut water,
Make it a habit after milk of any food , give sips of water.

It is most likely a fungal infection. Apply candid mouth paint after cleaning the tongue thrice a day for a few days.
