Not a big deal.... Occlusal forces sometimes fractures the filling specially fillings that r done in class 2 cavity..(.. In between two teeth) visit ur dentist and get a new filling done.... Or else root canal with crown if u want a long term solution

See if a piece of restoration is broken definitely there are chances of secondary caries and pulpal involvement.i suggest you if you are experiencing any pain or tendernes then you should get restoration replaced or for temporary relief take medications.for further details you can consult me

Sir , if there is any symptoms like pain or sensitivity you should visit a dentist and get it treated
But if you dont have any symptoms only filling has been broken you can replace it.

Chewing forces of teeth are heavy . It's normal for some breakage in the filling if you don't take precautions . Usually a refilling would be enough to save the tooth. Eating very hard foods can damage even permanent filling. The exact cause can be known after check-up.
