A blister/vesicle in the lips
Last encounter(sex) was sept 27. The day after i have fever, muscle pain and joint pain. 5 days after the exposure there's a blister in my lips. after 2 weeks there's a burning and needle prick sensation in my throat and tongue. I went to doc and he prescribed me with valtrex 500 mg bid for 17 days already. The blister is still present (no more pain) but the blister doesn't open for 6 weeks already. i have diabetes type . Is this really a herpes virus or something else?
