99 temp just after taking for long
Hi doctor,
My mouth temp shows around 98.9 if I measure just after taking to someone on call for 30-40 min on call.
Does taking long in call increase mouth temp?? That time armpit shows 97.5
Might be stupid but please suggested.

Obviously your mouth is doing an activity while talking, so there will.be an increase in heat, hence the temperature rise after talking.
Mouth has muscles just like any other body part.
